Privacy policy

This policy explains which personal data The Pantry Trade processes about the people behind our business customers, why, and what your rights are. The data controller is:

1. What we collect

• Account: company details, the contact person’s name, e-mail address and phone number, invoice e-mail, delivery address and instructions, and a securely hashed password.
• Orders: products, quantities, delivery moment, PO references and notes.
• Payment: handled by Stripe; we only receive a payment reference and status, never card numbers.
• Technical: a login cookie and standard server logs for security.

2. Why we use it

To review and manage your trade account, deliver orders, send confirmations and invoices, keep the accounts we are legally required to keep, and keep the platform secure. We do not sell data or use it for advertising.

3. Who sees it

Our team (review, packing, delivery, bookkeeping) and service providers that process data for us: Stripe (payments), Resend (e-mail), Neon and Vercel (hosting and database, United States) and our bookkeeping system. Authorities only where the law requires it.

4. How long we keep it

Account data for as long as the account exists; order and invoice data as long as tax and accounting law requires (typically seven years).

5. Your rights
